Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Romanian President Traian Basescu pledged in Bucharest on Wednesday to boost practical cooperation between their countries. Li, who arrived here Monday, described his visit to Romania as an endeavor to consolidate the two countries’ traditional friendship and promote their practical cooperation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit  Armenia on December 2, on a state visit. During his visit  Putin will hold talks with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. 

Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta on Wednesday expressed Bucharest’s support for a bid by Montenegro to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union (EU).
