Syria’s main opposition group accused the government of “massacring” more than 1,300 people in chemical weapons attacks near Damascus Wednesday, as the UN Security Council called for “clarity” and expressed “strong concern” over the allegations.

The Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between Serbia and the EU will enter into force on September 1. This means that Serbia’s EU association process will turn into the accession process.

Prime ministers of Serbia and Kosovo Ivica Dačić and Hashim Thaci will next week on Tuesday, August 27 in Brussels meet with EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton. Ashton’s spokesperson Maja Kocijančič said in a statement that they will
