Thousands of people have gathered to protest against the Bulgarian government in the capital Sofia. They are now heading to the parliament, waving Bulgarian national flags and EU flags and chanting

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has condemned the attack outside the headquarters of the Republican Guard in Egypt’s capital.

The European Union Monday condemned the violence in Egypt which has led to the death of scores of people and urged for calm and return to dialogue and the democratization process.
