Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mostafa Mohammad Najjar will soon pay a visit to Damascus at the invitation of his Syrian counterpart Lieutenant General Hassan Ali Turkmani, a defense ministry official said. During the visit, which is due to take place in response to Turkmani’s trip to Tehran last June, General Najjar is scheduled to attend talks with senior Syrian officials to discuss expansion and deepening of bilateral ties and exchange views about regional and international issues.
