Tehran, Damascus Ink 12 Cooperation Agreements

Iran and Syria signed 12 cooperation agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday. The documents which were endorsed by Iranian First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi and Syrian Prime Minister Muhammad Naji al-Utri and their accompanying delegations pertain to the two countries’ cooperation in areas of industry, health, medicine, Information Technology and Communications (ITC), housing and urban development.

Joint cooperation in grounds of electricity, water and swage systems, technical and professional training and agriculture as well as joint venture were among the other topics touched in the agreements.

Davoudi and Utri also signed the last cooperation document of the 9th meeting of the two countries’ high joint commission as the main document of the 9th summit.
