Iranian Trade Delegation Due in Moscow Tomorrow

A00291146.jpgA 30-member delegation from Iranian traders and industry owners is scheduled to leave Tehran for Moscow Monday morning to explore new grounds for the two countries’ joint economic activities a week after Russian President Vladimir Putin paid a groundbreaking visit to Tehran. During the trip, the Iranian trade officials and businessmen will attend talks with economic officials and activists from the Russian government and private sector.

Meetings with the members of Russia’s chamber of commerce and visits to the economic centers and business activities of that country are also included in the itinerary of the Iranian delegation.

The delegation is also scheduled to meet with Iranian traders residing in Russia as well as Islamic Republic’s consulate officials in the Russian port city of Astrakhan.
