Iranians Stage Rallies to Condemn Insults to Prophet

A02976676.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- A large number of Tehrani citizens on Friday staged rallies to voice strong protest at insults to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in certain European press, and meantime condemn Israel’s continued brutalities against Palestinians.

Protestors, who moved towards Tehran’s Palestine Square on the day which marks the departure anniversary of the Holy Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad and his grandson and Shiites’ second Imam Hazrat Hassan ibn Ali (Peace Be Upon Them All), shouted slogans to condemn the Dutch and Danish press insults to Islamic sanctities as well as recent Zionist crimes in Palestinian occupied territory, specially Gaza.

The ralliers, chanting anti-US and anti-Israel slogans in the ceremony in Palestine Square of Tehran, then moved towards Tehran’s Friday Prayers ground at Tehran University Campus.
