70,000 Barrels Added to Iran’s Gasoline Production

A03825928.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Iran’s gasoline production capacity will rise 70,000 barrels a day following the launch of operation of Tabriz’s Shahriar refinery, an official said.

Speaking to PIN, director of TSF Hassan Ghasemzadeh also added that based on the construction contract signed in 2007, British Nargen and KBC were in charge of implementing the project.

He continued preliminary production capacity of the project was planned to be 110,000 barrels a day but it would rise to 150,000 b/d.

“The estimated budget for the project is 2bln Euros,” Ghasemzadeh said.

“And the project has made a 20 percent progress so far,” he continued.
