Controversial group in Srebrenica incident

SREBRENICA

Sarajevo media are reporting that a group of men and women associated with Serbia’s Obraz movement shouted offensive slogans in Srebrenica on Sunday night.

The group is said to have almost caused an incident with their hateful and insulting chants on Sunday night directed at the Srebrenica victims, reports claim.

According to the local papers in the Bosnian capital, this group “chanted insults directed towards the victims and in support of the Chetnik movement, calling for eradication of Islam”.

Police stopped the incident from escalating, according to Radio Free Europe, who added that the Obraz members from Belgrade left Srebrenica escorted by the police.
