Serbian war crimes suspect arrested in France

A former member of the Serbian paramilitary unit the Scorpions has been arrested near Grenoble on Monday (January 31st). Milorad Momic, 47, is suspected of killing Bosniaks in Srebrenica in 1995. Police say he has been living in the French Alps for years under a fake identity. Serbia wants Momic on charges of crimes against humanity. In 2007, four members of the Scorpions received prison terms of between five and 20 years for the torture and murder of six Muslims in July 1995.
