Russian PM Vladimir Putin in visit to Serbia

Russian PM Vladimir Putin has arrived in Serbia, and is set to hold meetings with the country’s top officials, focusing on economic cooperation.

Vladimir Putin is meeting with Serbia’s President Boris Tadić, PM Mirko Cvetković, and Parliament Speaker Slavica Đukić-Dejanović. 

The talks are expected to be centered on the South Stream natural gas pipeline project, but also the situation in Kosovo, and in Libya.

Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić said ahead of the visit: “I expect Serbia will be stronger the day after the visit is over. We will talk economic, but also political topics, it will be an important visit from which we expect great results”.
