Turkish PM condemns nationalistic attack on Muslims outside mosque in Sofia

Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has condemned the attack of the Bulgarian nationalistic party Ataka on Muslims outside a mosque in the center of Sofia, the prime minister was speaking at a rally in the northwestern city of Bursa (Turkey), which is populated mainly by Bulgarian emigrants.

I flatly condemn the attack that was carried out in Sofia during Muslims’ Friday prayer. But the Bulgarian leaders’ statements soothed us and I would like to thank them for that. I want to reiterate that the European states should undertake joint steps against such actions, he said.
