Azerbaijan and Georgia discuss border delimitation

A meeting was held at the level of working groups of Azerbaijan and Georgia in the first half of June on the issue of delimitation the state border between the two countries, the Azerbaijani State Committee for Geodesy and Cartography said.

The meeting took place on Georgian territory. The working groups have conducted research regarding the delimitation of the state border and carried out the relevant surveying.

The meeting was held to prepare for the next joint session of the Commission. The date of the next meeting of the state commission will be determined after the working groups conduct the relevant work.

At present, about 180 km of 480 km of the state border between Azerbaijan and Georgia have not been specified.
