Croatian FM urges for bilateral cooperation with Serbia on lawsuits

Croat FM Vesna Pusić said on Tuesday Serbia and Croatia could discuss withdrawals of genocide lawsuits if they first resolved whatever they could bilaterally.

“That refers to stolen property, missing persons and war crimes cases,” she explained.

“If we can solve that bilaterally, then we can drop the charges,” the Croatia’s minister remarked.

According to her, issues should not be addressed according to the charges but that the two countries should focus on actual cases that could be solved in advance, and some are already being worked on.
