Georgia and Israel discuss bilateral cooperation and regional security

Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili and Head of the Government of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation and regional security during a meeting on Tuesday.

“Today vital topics are the preservation of peace and the fight against terrorism, and the experience of Israel in this area are very important for Georgia, and we intend to cooperate in this field,” Ivanishvili said.

According to Netanyahu, Israel is committed to a stable peace settlement with the Palestinians, which can be achieved only through direct negotiations without preconditions.
