Russian troops take over easternmost terminal of Crimea

imgRussian troops took a ferry terminal on the easternmost tip of Crimea near Russia, Monday, exacerbating fears that Moscow is planning to bring more troops in the strategic region of the Black Sea.

Confiscation terminal in the Ukrainian city of Kerch about 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the boat to Russia, comes the West trying to figure out ways to halt and reverse the Russian incursion.

On Monday, soldiers have been operating the terminal, which serves as a common starting point for more Russian-bound ships. People have refused to identify, but they spoke Russian and vehicles transporting them have Russian registration plates.

Ukraine says troops are Russian soldiers occupied airports in Crimea, destroyed equipment at an air base and besieged infantry base in the Ukrainian peninsula.
