NATO ends its practical cooperation with Russia, due to tensions in Ukraine.
NATO is currently reconsidering its cooperation with Russia, Secretary General of the Alliance Anders Fogh Rasmussen announced.
“We had planned a joint operation on securing the American ship, the board will destroy chemical weapons in Syria,” Rasmussen said. “We will keep it, but Russia will not participate.”
Meanwhile, NATO said it will not recognize the referendum in the Crimea.
According to Rasmussen, it is illegal and unconstitutional and violates international treaties.
