MP Views Iran, Palestine Revolutions as Identical

A0075643.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Parliament’s Vice Speaker said that the Iranian and Palestinian revolutions are identical and interrelated.

“Each of these two fronts affects the other one directly,” Mohammad Reza Bahonar told FNA here on Wednesday.

Noting the scandalous defeats sustained by the Zionist regime in Lebanon, he also called on the world Muslims to attend Qods Day rallies in greater numbers and in a way different from the previous years.

The Lebanese Hezbollah defeated Israel empty handed and it proved the falseness of the picture Zionists had long portrayed of themselves as an invincible power, adding, “Therefore, Palestine should be viewed differently this year.”

The MP said that sowing seeds of discord among the various Palestinian groups inside the occupied territories sets a top priority of the Zionists’ agenda, and reminded that when the Israeli regime intended to launch the war on Lebanon, it started first with hatching plots to undermine the Lebanese unity.

“But vigilance and prompt arrangements and measures adopted by Hezbollah and its Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah made all the Israelis’ plots and conspiracies fall flat,” he continued.

Bahonar warned that such plots are repeatable, but meantime reminded that these kinds of conspiracies and plots are vulnerable to public vigilance.

He said the victory of Hezbollah in the 33-day Israeli war on Lebanon delighted the entire Muslim world, and stated, “Hezbollah’s moves and triumph altered the position of the Islamic nations in the international arena and improved the status of the Islamic Ummah (nation) in the international relations.”

“Now we must make an optimal use of the said victory and do our best in defending the oppressed world people,” the legislative official underscored.

He said wide public participation in the Qods Day rallies in different countries conveys the message of the oppressed Palestinian people.
