NATO Air Surveillance System Presented to Romanian Military

BUCHAREST, Romania — NATO’s early warning and air control system NAEW and C was presented to the Romanian Air Force Staff on Tuesday (31 May). A demonstration flight was conducted aboard an AWACS surveillance aircraft.

In other news, Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia will participate Thursday in a proliferation security initiative in the Czech Republic. The drill will include participants from five NATO member states.
