Mottaki Stresses Cooperation between Oil, Foreign Ministries

A0208309.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki here on Wednesday reiterated the need for increased efforts and cooperation by the foreign and oil ministries in order to enhance the two sides’ dialogue and systematic relations in specialized and research fields.

According to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Bureau, Mottaki made the remarks while addressing the second day of the 11th International Oil and Gas Conference in Tehran today.

He reminded that increased cooperation between the two ministries can serve as the bedrock for the establishment of relations and dialogue between the different sectors of the country.

Elsewhere, he described assistance to the Iranian team of nuclear negotiators as one of his ministry’s top and most cumbersome tasks, underlining that the foreign ministry is making optimum efforts to help the country’s acquisition of the peaceful civilian nuclear technology.
