Iran, Sri Lanka to Boost Economic Cooperation

A023289030.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iran and Sri Lanka are due to consolidate bilateral ties in the cooperative sector through enhancement of cooperation between the two countries’ private sectors.

Secretary General of Iran’s Chamber of Cooperation, in a meeting with Sri Lanka’s ambassador to Tehran here on Saturday, said that Iran and Sri Lanka can consolidate their bilateral relations in the cooperative sector in various economic, social, research and training areas.

Mohammad Reza Ramadhani further voiced preparedness of the Iranian cooperative unions for cooperation with Sri Lanka in various economic grounds, reminding that each cooperative union in Iran has more than a thousand members.

He also stated that Iran’s Chamber of Cooperative is ready to hold fairs in Colombo and welcomes holding of fairs in Tehran by Sri Lanka.
