“The legal activities of the Islamic Republic in the nuclear field will continue within their natural trend and Iran’s nuclear trend has remained unchanged,” Mottaki told reporters after a meeting with the director of the political office of the Palestinian Hamas group here in Tehran on Tuesday.

“Any positive step taken by the counterparty in Iran’s nuclear issue will be reciprocated by a similar step from the side of Iran,” he added.

Meantime, the minister reminded that confidence building does not mean discarding or dismissal of Iran’s legal rights, and expressed the hope that the two parties would achieve an understanding palatable to both sides.
