Iran to Export $9.8 bln of Petrochemicals

A polymer update team member reported that the Islamic republic is slated to export petrochemical products amounting to 21 million tons in the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2007 to March 20, 2008).According to forecasts by the National Petrochemical Company, USD 9.8 billion worth of petrochemical products are scheduled to be exported from Iran.
