Iran, Afghanistan Ink MoU on Economic Cooperation

Iran’s Small Industries and Industrial Townships Organization signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Afghanistan’s Trade and Industries Ministry on economic cooperation. According to the public relations of the Iranian organization, the MoU is aimed at cooperation in the industrial development and economic growth of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

The agreement requires the Iranian organization to fulfill feasibility studies, design and construct three industrial townships in Faryab, Balkh and Jalalabad provinces in Afghanistan.
