Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a message to Hu Jintao on Tuesday extended his congratulations to Chinese president, government and nation on the country’s national day. Also in his message to the Chinese leader, Ahmadinejad noted the lustrous background of Iran-China relations, and voiced pleasure in the remarkable growth of the two countries’ ties in recent years, a statement released by the Presidential Press Office said.
To conclude his message, the president expressed his confidence that Tehran-Beijing relations would further develop in future in light of joint efforts to be made by the two states’ officials.
