Turkish FM Due in Tehran Today

A01177142.jpgTurkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan is scheduled to arrive here in Tehran Saturday afternoon. Babacan, who has recently been appointed as his country’s foreign minister, is due to confer with Iranian president, parliament speaker and foreign minister about bilateral ties, regional and international developments and other issues of mutual interest.

Meantime an informed source told FNA that the Turkish foreign minister is likely to have a meeting with the newly-appointed secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Saeed Jalili.
