Iranian Judiciary Chief Meets Sierra Leonean Colleague

A018022610.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Head of Iran’s Judiciary Ayatollah Seyed Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi met with the visiting head of Sierra Leon’s Supreme Court here on Thursday.

During the meeting held on the sidelines of the first conference of the Judiciary Chiefs of Muslim Countries in Tehran, Shahroudi voiced Iran’s readiness to render support to all Islamic countries, including Sierra Leon.

“Despite the negative propaganda launched by our common enemies, Iran is your second homeland,” he added.

The official further assured the other side that Sierra Leon’s judges will receive training in future once the required measures are adopted at the Cooperative Assembly of the Islamic Countries’ Judiciaries.

For his part, head of Sierra Leon’s Supreme Court described the Tehran conference as much significant for cooperation among Muslim countries.
