Iranian VP to Leave for Damascus

A00985219.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iran’s First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi is due to leave for Syria on Wednesday.

During his two-day visit, which will take place at the invitation of his Syrian counterpart, Davoudi is scheduled to inaugurate assembly line of the Iranian ‘Pride’ passenger car, a cement production factory and a number of other joint ventures in Syria.

The Iranian first vice-president is also due to attend meetings with high-ranking Syrian officials during the trip.
