Jordanian Ambassador Summoned to FM

A03492847.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned Jordan’s ambassador to Tehran to voice Iran’s strong protest at a series of biased statements recently made by the country’s officials in support of anti-Iran terrorist groups.

In a meeting with Amman’s envoy to Tehran Ahmad Jalal Al-Meflah, Director of the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s first Office for Arab Middle-East and North Africa voiced Iran’s strong protest at the biased statements of the Jordanian officials in support of anti-Iran terrorist grouplets, and called for a formal explanation by the Jordanian government.

Al-Meflah, for his part, stressed that he would inform his country’s foreign ministry of Iran’s protest and would reflect the response of the Jordanian officials to the Iranian foreign ministry.
