Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Summoned to FM

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian Foreign Ministry Saturday summoned Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Tehran to voice Iran’s protest at the baseless allegations made in certain media of that country.

During a meeting with the envoy here today, the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s General Director for the Commonwealth and the Caucasus Affairs, Moteza Saffari, described as unfounded and futile the allegations made in the wake of certain reports by some Azeri media and governmental bodies, and called on the related officials to extend an apology to Tehran.
