Diplomat Meets Thai Crown Prince

A00182126.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iran’s outgoing ambassador to Bangkok Mohsen Pak Ayeen conferred with Thailand’s crown prince about expansion of the two countries’ relations.

The Thai prince, speaking on behalf of the country’s king, appreciated the Iranian envoy’s effective efforts in expanding the two countries’ relations, describing Tehran-Bangkok relations as age-old and historical.

The Iranian ambassador, for his part, briefed the other side about the trend of the expansion of the two countries’ all-out relations, and underlined that development of ties between Tehran and Bangkok serves the interests of both nations.

Pak Ayeen further viewed Iran-Thailand 400-year-old relations as a desirable back-up for the two countries’ political ties.

He also praised the Thai crown prince for paying due attention to the great Muslim community living in that country.
