Vaeedi: IAEA Report Disproves US Claims

A025560412.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) – Iran said the report by the UN atomic agency has proved that claims by the US, France and Britain against Tehran have no foundation.

“When the Action Plan was prepared six months ago, some accused Tehran of trying to buy time, but the Friday report showed that allegations of undercover nuclear activities were baseless,” press tv quoted Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Undersecretary Javad Vaeedi as saying.

The report released by the International Atomic Energy Agency chief Mohammad ElBaradei confirmed that Iranian nuclear issues have either been fully resolved or are no longer outstanding at this stage.

“The most important result of the report is that it confirms Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful,” the official added.

“Prior to the release of the report, certain Western countries had tried to find some anti-Iran points in it, but now their news media seem to have fallen silent,” he observed.
