Iran, anchor of stability in region: speaker

Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel said on Wednesday that Iran is the anchor of stability in the region. Addressing a local gathering, the speaker added that all countries have admitted Tehran’s major role in establishing regional stability. “Despite having more enemies than other regional states, Iran enjoys more stability than other countries in the region,” Haddad-adel said. He added that military forces are responsible for defending territorial integrity and countering threats of the enemies.
