Iran Ready for Talks With Int’l Community

A0146810.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Iran is ready to negotiate with international community over such issues as non-proliferation and disarmament, the Islamic Republic’s foreign minister said Sunday.

“We have always supported negotiations that are purposeful,” said Mottaki when he was asked if Iran was ready to negotiate Javier Solana, the European Union’s foreign policy representative.

“Our stance is clear. We continue our natural and legal course to restore our rights,” Mottaki added.

He further reminded that Iran’s issues with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have been resolved, and continued, “The Islamic Republic of iran is ready to attend talks with the international community and effective parties over different world issues, including a just world order, disarmament, non-proliferation and the like.”
