Iran Clinic Donates 200 Tents to Ghana

A0180149.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Iran Clinic, a representative of the Iranian Red Crescent Society in Ghana yesterday donated 200 relief tents, worth $36,000 to the Ghana Red Cross Society.

The donation is meant to increase the capacity of Ghana Red Cross Society to support victims of natural disasters by providing them with emergency shelter.

The Medical Director of the clinic, Dr. Abbas Moshkforoush said the provision of emergency shelter to victims of natural disasters is considered to be one of the most important needs of affected communities.

He said the donation was made in line with the clinic’s continuous efforts to support Ghana Red Cross during emergency situations.

Dr. Moshkforoush commended Ghana Red Cross Society for playing an efficient and reliable role in the aftermath of the recent flood in the northern part of the country.

He appealed to NGO’s and other organizations to come out to support Ghana Red Cross Society in their efforts to serve humanity.
