Iran to attract Chinese investors for energy projects

TEHRAN, Aug. 22 (ISNA)-Iran’s National Oil Company (INOC) managing director Seifollah Jashnsaz is officially invited by Chinese officials to trip to the country to expand energy cooperation.

Iran, with the second-biggest oil reserves in the world seeks to attract foreign investments and Jashnsaz’s trip can highlight Tehran’s strategic approach towards the East to provide finance.

Many Asian companies including Chinese ones are holding talks to take part in Iran’s energy section.

Jashnsaz is expected to hold talks with China’s high-ranking oil officials on promoting energy cooperation, selling gas to China and receiving china’s technical aids for Iran’s oil and gas projects.
