Students clash with police in Greece: reports

ATHENS (Reuters) – Hundreds of students clashed with police in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki on Monday in a third day of rioting since police shot dead a teenage boy in Athens at the weekend, state television reported.

Thousands clashed with police and rampaged through Athens and other cities at the weekend, destroying scores of businesses, injuring dozens and piling more pressure on the conservative government, whose ratings have been hit by an economic slowdown.
