According to this information, Chairman of the Democratic Party of Moldova Marian Lupu will occupy the President’s post, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova Vlad Filat – the Parliament Chairman’s post, Leader of the Moldova Noastra Alliance Serafim Urechean – the Prime Minister’s post.

Leaders the Alliance for European Integration, which consists of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (LDPM), the Liberal Party of Moldova, the Democratic Party of Moldova and the Moldova Noastra Alliance, have agreed upon the distribution of the key posts, a number of mass media, close to the leaders of the ruling coalition, report.

According to this information, Chairman of the Democratic Party of Moldova Marian Lupu will occupy the President’s post, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (LDPM) Vlad Filat – the Parliament Chairman’s post, Leader of the Moldova Noastra Alliance Serafim Urechean – the Prime Minister’s post. Leader of the Liberal Party of Moldova will be Deputy Chairman of the Parliament, several positions in the Parliamentary standing committee will be offered to the Communist Party, which will go over to the opposition.

The leader of the Alliance for European Integration did not confirm and did not deny this information. Earlier Marian Lupu declared repeatedly his desire to become the Moldovan President. Vlad Filat told Romanian journalists that he is ready to be the Parliamentary Chairman. In his turn, Serafim Urechean declared his readiness to head the Government. At the same time, the participants in the new coalition repeatedly underlined that the new coalition is based on principles, but not on posts. They denied categorically that their talks were conducted around the distribution of the key posts.

“We do not discuss this for the time being, but it is the main thing”, Serafim Urechean declared this week.

He denied rumors that all the leaders of the Alliance for European Integration strive to occupy the President’s or the Parliament Chairman’s posts and refuse to occupy the Premier’s post.

“Certainly the work in the Government calls for the highest responsibility. But we formed a coalition and agreed that we bear the common responsibility for the situation in the country. We take all our decisions upon agreement. If such decision has been taken, I am ready to head the Government. I have experience and necessary knowledge to master this task with support on the part of my colleagues” Urechean said.

He expressed confidence that it will possible to find a compromise with the Communists for supporting the presidential candidature.

“Otherwise, new elections will take place, where the Communists will be severely defeated” Urechean considers.

Experts consider that the Communists may support the presidential candidature of the former opposition, but this must be a neutral candidate, but not a leader of any party, as representatives of the Communist Party said earlier.
