Russian president meets with Security Council members

RUSSIA

President Dmitry Medvedev has had a regular meeting with the Russian Security Council’s permanent members, the Kremlin press service said on Friday.

Taking part in the meeting were Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, Head of the Kremlin Administration Sergei Naryshkin, Federation Council Speaker Sergei Mironov, State Duma Speaker Boris Gryzlov, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev and Director of the Federal Security Service (FSB) Alexander Bortnikov, the press service said.

Participants in the meeting discussed Russia’s domestic and foreign politics, the press service said.
