Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Prime Minister Nikola Spiric briefed EU Home Affairs Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom on Wednesday about the country’s progress in meeting criteria for visa-free travel. Spiric asked for her help in scrapping visa requirements for Bosnian citizens as soon as possible. He wants the European Commission (EC) to draft a progress report by mid-April. Malmstrom praised BiH’s efforts so far and voiced the EC’s commitment to liberalise the visa regime.
