Foreign ministers of Croatia and Slovenia to meet next week

The foreign ministers of Croatia and Slovenia – Gordan Jandrokovic and Samuel Zbogar – will meet in Slovenia next week.

Though both ministries have confirmed the encounter, there has been no official announcement on the date and the venue. Slovenian media say the meeting could be interpreted as a preparation for the upcoming meeting of the two countries’ prime ministers Jadranka Kosor and Borut Pahor, slated for July 31. The prime ministers are expected to discuss Ljubljanska Banka debts towards Croatian savers.

Foreign ministers Jandrokovic and Zbogar met earlier this week in Kabul on the sidelines of the international conference on Afghanistan, but the topics of discussion were not made public.
