Ukrainian Defense Minister to visit Georgia

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Yezhel will arrive in Tbilisi today on a two-day visit, the Georgian Defense Ministry said. He will meet with his Georgian counterpart Bacho Akhalaia later this afternoon.

Tomorrow, Yezhel will attend a wreath-laying ceremony at a memorial dedicated to the Georgian soldiers who died protecting the country’s unity in the war in Abkhazia in 1992-1993. He will also meet with representatives of the Georgian National Security Council.

During his visit, it is planned to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in defense.
