Moldovan Acting President hopes that vote re-count will bring extra 2 mandates to liberals

Moldovan Acting President Mihai Ghimpu hopes that re-count of the ballots cast at the November 28 elections may well bring another 2 parliamentary mandates to his Liberal Party, so the Right-Centrist coalition of the Liberal Party, the Liberal Democratic Party and the Democratic Party will thus be able to elect a new President of Moldova.

Ghimpu stated after his meeting with President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek here today he wouldn’t mind getting even 5 extra mandates.
