Montenegrin President wants closer cooperation with Serbia

Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic has said that Montenegro and Serbia should be the two closest countries – not only in the region, but in the whole world.

“We keep forgetting that brother nations [Serbia and Montenegro] sometimes have different interests and move away from one another, but with a commitment to overcome those [differences] quickly, because their of closeness,”  Montenegrin President Vujanovic said.

The Montenegrin president said that he has “meaningful, constructive and friendly communication” with Serbian President Boris Tadic.

According to Vujanovic, it is necessary for the two countries to boost their economic cooperation.
