Bulgaria decided to expel Syrian envoy

Bulgaria decided on Tuesday to expel Syria’s envoy to be in line with an international response to the recent killings in the Syrian village of Houla.

“Salah Soukkar will be informed today that he has to leave Bulgaria in the next 72 hours,” the ministry announced.

Bulgaria also decided to temporarily close its embassy in Damascus and call home its diplomats.
