Turkey and EU to have joint committee meeting on Friday

Turkey-EU joint parliamentary committee will gather for the 121st time in Brussels, on Friday.

The committee, responsible for the evaluation of issues stemming from the Ankara Agreement signed on September 12, 1963 between Turkey and the EEC, is to discuss partnership relation and the latest developments and problems in the negotiation process.

“Political and Economic Criteria,”Justice and Internal Affairs,” “Energy,” “Transportation,” Environment and Climate Change,” “Customs Union and Free Trade Agreements” and “Financial Aid” topics as well as the “Positive Agenda” issues are on the agenda of the committee for the meeting.
