Serbian PM meets EULEX chief

Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic met on Thursday in Belgrade with the chief of EULEX in Kosovo, Bernd Borchardt.

Dacic stated during the meeting “that the role of this mission is of exceptional importance in the implementation of the Brussels agreement,” and requested that EULEX secure full protection of the population and preserve stability in the province.

Special emphasis was put on the significance of EULEX’s status neutrality, because it has the support of the Serb community only as a neutral mission, according to a statement issued by the Serbian government.
