Greek President visits Serbia

img Greek President Karolos Papoulias has arrived in Belgrade and will hold a series of meetings with Serbian officials on Tuesday.

Papoulias met with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić, and will also confer with Prime Minister Ivica Dačić, Parliament Speaker Nebojša Stefanović and Serbian Orthodox Church Patriarch Irinej.

The Greek president was welcomed at the Palace of Serbia with highest state honors, including a ceremonial guard and the playing of national anthems.

The one-on-one meeting between Nikolić and Papoulias was followed by a meeting of the delegations of Serbia and Greece.
