NATO delegation visits Georgia

imgThe programme of a North Atlantic Council’s delegation’s visit to Georgia has been announced.

The visit of a NATO delegation will arrive in Georgia today and will end on June 27.

A joint press conference of Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will be held today.

The delegation will hold meetings with chairman of the Georgian Parliament David Usupashvili, leader of the parliamentary majority and minority, as well as chairmen of the parliamentary committees on Thursday. On the same day, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will deliver a speech at a meeting with students at the National Library of the Georgian Parliament. The delegation will meet with civilian representatives, NGOs, media and international organisations.
