Serbia and Montenegro to continue regional cooperation

Serbian and Montenegrin parliament speakers have said the two countries should continue regional cooperation and inter-parliamentary exchange of experience.

This is true especially in the context of European integration, Nebojša Stefanović and Ranko Krivokapić stated in Belgrade on Thursday.

Stefanović called for an increased and effective inter-parliamentary cooperation, primarily through the exchange of experiences and direct cooperation between the two parliaments’ working bodies.

The Serbian parliament speaker also urged for continuing the two parliaments’ close cooperation in international organizations.

Stefanović expressed satisfaction about the fact that this was the first official bilateral meeting between the parliament speakers of Serbia and Montenegro, other meetings having taken place on the margins of multilateral meetings.
